How a 3D Printed Pet Urn Is Made

Modern 3D printing meets careful craftsmanship. It lets us tailor every urn precisely to your wishes and your companion's character – with no compromise on shape or quality.

3D printing makes shapes and details possible that are hard to achieve by hand: delicate patterns, personal names, paw prints and made-to-measure sizes. Every step is checked and refined by us.

How it's made

01

Conversation & concept

We discuss your wishes: shape, size, motif and personalisation. This becomes the concept for the digital model.

02

3D modelling

We build a precise 3D model on the computer. A name, date, paw print or personal motif is integrated directly into the form.

03

Print preparation

The model is sliced into thin layers and the best print settings for material, strength and surface finish are chosen.

04

3D printing

The urn is built up layer by layer. Depending on size this takes several hours and is carefully monitored throughout.

05

Finishing & refinement

Support structures are removed, surfaces sanded, primed and finished by hand – matte, silky or with metallic accents.

06

Quality check & delivery

Each urn is inspected, its seal and closure checked, then carefully and discreetly packaged for delivery.

Materials & durability

Premium filaments

We use durable, eco-friendly materials such as PLA and PETG that are dimensionally stable and easy to care for.

Refined surfaces

Sanding and coating create elegant finishes that echo ceramic, wood or stone.

Made to last

The finished urns are sturdy, light-resistant and suitable for lasting indoor keeping.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The most common questions about our 3D-printed urns.

How long does it take to make an urn?

From the first design to delivery it usually takes 2–3 weeks, depending on the chosen size, motif and level of personalisation. If you need it sooner, let us know and we'll do our best to speed things up.

Is the 3D-printed material safe and durable?

Yes. We use durable, form-stable materials (PLA, PETG), then sand and coat the surface. The finished urns are sturdy, light-resistant and made for lasting indoor keeping.

Which size should I choose?

The size depends on your companion's body weight. Each size in the configurator shows a recommended weight range, and if you're unsure we're happy to help you pick the right one.

Can you add a name or a paw print?

Of course. We can add a name, date, short inscription and paw print directly into the shape or by engraving. Just note it in the configurator or in a message.

How is shipping handled?

Every urn is delivered discreetly and carefully packaged by courier. The parcel is well protected and we notify you in advance of the delivery.
